Health Professionals: Take the Healthy Body Scorecard Survey
Researchers from the Bloorview Research Institute and the University of Toronto would like you to fill in a survey in order to gain your opinion about the development of a holistic health screening tool for children, The Healthy Body Scorecard. The goal of the Healthy Body Scorecard is to address the limitations associated with the use of Body Mass Index (BMI) and provide an easy to use tool that will provide a more complete understanding of the heath needs of children aged 2-18. The link to an online version of the survey can be found below at the bottom of this email.
WHO: Health care practitioners who work with children
WHAT: You will be asked to complete a short online survey about your current practices and the items you think would be useful to include in the scorecard. This will take about 10 minutes to complete.
WHY: They want to understand the type of information you would consider useful to include in the development of the Healthy Body Scorecard to ensure that it will be clinically useful.
WHEN: Complete the survey before April 30th 2013.
No personal identifiers will be linked to your comments – your answers will be anonymous. By completing the survey, you give consent for your responses to be used. You may withdraw consent by exiting the survey at any time.
