Amanda Raffoul is the 2017-2018 Chair of the CON-SNP National Executive.
Amanda is a PhD candidate in the School of Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo. She is the current Chair of the CON-SNP National Executive, and previously served as a Chapter Representative during the 2016-17 year. She also serves as a co-chair of the CON-SNP chapter at the University of Waterloo. Amanda’s research interests revolve around disordered eating and weight loss behaviours, body image, and weight bias, and how they influence health-related behaviours. She is also interested in using complex systems approaches to investigate how policy may affect psychosocial contributors to weight among the general Canadian population.
